New England has a rich and varied food history. I have lived in Rhode Island all my life, and my cultural background is as varied as that of the state. I grew up eating the Portuguese and German food of my mother, as well as the old school New England and French Canadian foods of my father. I later learned Italian and Asian cuisine, both from restaurant work (some front of the house staff does pay attention) and personal friends.
You will find wine & spirit reviews on the site, as well. I do not in any way claim to be an expert. The reviews are generally short and sweet, meant to give the average consumer an idea if they might like the wine.
